Microsoft Lync Conference

The Microsoft Lync Conference is the premier worldwide gathering of the entire Lync community, coming together to learn, share and connect.

In 2014 Microsoft approached us with the details of this event, the learnings of doing three prior events with us, and with the hope to go even larger than before.

After looking at key areas of the venue, they opted to show the social wall near the registration desk, above the main entrance into the show floor, on a huge screen screen on the opposite side of the room, and on several 42″ to 55″ screens throughout the venue.

During the 3-day conference, they displayed 4,821 Tweets, had a unique reach of over 2 million, and a total reach of over 11 million. Meaning the average Twitter user that saw a Tweet about this conference, saw 5 other tweets, too. That reinforced the Microsoft Lync brand, and it’s why Microsoft said using Everwall (Tweetwall at the time) was a success.

After researching every major Twitter wall option (both domestic and international), I found Everwall to be the least expensive along with having the best customer service from start to finish.
